The Oriental Authentication Language Learning Center(OALLC) is launching a winter camp program studying Chinese language and culture. The program only accepts 20 students, and will start on January 15th, 2020. The program includes Mandarin lessons and Chinese cultural activities and weekend trips. It aims to improve your Chinese listening, speaking, reading and writing ability, as well as helping you have a real, exciting, fun, and unforgettable experience of China. This program also allows you to apply for scholarships of learning the Chinese language in Chinese universities.

The program covers:

1. 80 periods of lessons (each period lasts 45 minutes).

2. 8 Cultural activities and experiences including: Chinese cuisine, martial arts and music.

3. Weekend trips around Ningbo.

4. Trips to Hangzhou and Shanghai.

Upon finishing this program, you will:

1.    Reach the level of HSK2, which is the National Chinese Standard for Foreigners

2.    Improve your speaking, listening, reading skills as well as writing proficiency in the Chinese language.

3.    Have a real and vivid experience of Chinese cuisine, Chinese Kungfu and Chinese tea.

4.    Integrate into the daily life of China and make Chinese friends as well as the friends from around the world.

5.    Have a vivid experience of the most developed part of China.

6.    Build connections with people from different countries.

Notice:

1.    The program will instruct Chinese in a small class, with a maximum of 10 students per class.

2.    English will be the language for the instruction of Chinese lessons as well as activities.

3.    The language center will admit students who want to learn authentic Chinese and enjoy learning about Chinese culture as well as China itself.

4.    The center will help you in arranging your accommodation for your time in Ningbo.

5.    The center offer support and guidance for your life here in Ningbo, China.

If you would like to stay for another two months of Chinese learning, your improvement of Chinese proficiency to the HSK3 level would help you apply for a Chinese government scholarship of Chinese learning for half year or one year, which would cover the cost of studying and living in a Chinese university. This scholarship is open to all college students and high school students outside of China.
